Fatman_do: I know Jeff has been working with you with skinning VA. Do you think he would help with the VA panel also?

Actually he hasn't provided any skinning help, just feedback. The skins that are for his plugins are ports of other skins that are modified. He is welcome to change them.

As far as the panel goes, it is rather flexible and can be used in many ways, even full-screen. Actual panel layout might need to vary depending on main menu layout.

Could the SkinPlugin possibly provide the ability to activate-disable individual panels?

So the main menu options in the SkinPlugin will also define panel layout? (they do this already).

In a future release, yes. :p

Not sure I follow..

Are you meaning the SkinPlugin\MainMenus\{Themename} folder provides a means to copy over a "panels" folder as well?

Yes, \skin\SkinPlugin\MainMenus\Community can have up to 2 folders. main menu and panels. Upon selection these are copied into the skin root.

Sorry, we're still having on going problems with web hosting. I'm currently in the process of arranging a new dedicated hosting service, which we'll be moving to in a few days.

I finally managed to test with this yesterday and I can't complain about how thorough it all is and how flexible.

Could I just check something though? I use a tweaked version of BlueMCE2 which isn't compatible with the latest version of GBPVR. My tweaks are minor and are little more than a few replacement graphics and I figured I could probably tweak the skin a little to suit my taste a bit more.

However, I noticed, with the BlueMCE2 theme, that a lot of things just looked totally different to the original. Did you have to make compromises on things like text sizes, button sizes and item placements in order to support the skin plugin "theming" to work? even after a lot of tweaking I still couldn't get the skin to look *exactly* like the original BlueMCE2 and I gave up in the end :-(

Regards
Dave
