ok,that one was only 1.2 meg and it wouldn't take it...
seems the limits aren't correct...i thought that was fixed?
i'm now using firefox 2.0

guess i can just stick it on the wiki...but i just wanted to share this with developers for now..[very alpha]

You upload to the wiki, then just post the link to the upload on the forums. You do not need to make a page and link on the wiki yet.

Anyone tried it yet?

Certainly an interesting idea... and very cool that I could take GBPVR with me. If anyone has tried it out, lets hear about it! Smile

wanna see what kind of performance you can get out of your machine?
i've used this on a machine with only 256 meg with excellent results...tho with the cd buffer feature 384m is min.[fbfw is on by default] [File-Based-File-Writer]

save some money and space on a hard drive by using this with only a dvdrom drive in your machine!

I'm going to try this out over the weekend if I find time.
Do you think an MCE remote would work with this?

it should... just make sure you have the required driver files in the XPE subdirs so it'll have them installed...[just like any other driver] only the irbus.inf and irbus.sys i think they're called...also don't forget to set the remote type in config....HIP shouldn't be too hard to integrate if you've got a working setup..

they may already be installed by default with xppro sources..Smile
[i haven't checked]

cool thing about fbfw is you can change settings in gbpvr and they will stay until reboot so you can tweak things or change skins,etc.. then incorporate the tweaks into the build..
worked rather nicely with just 256meg ram...Smile

it should use a hard drive for temp if you have it but the more memory the better....if no writable temp space found besides dvd, it will use the dvd[memory actually] for temp..

let me know if any problems..you may have to do some editing..Smile
[but run the config button in bartpe on the plugins to try first]

Finally got some time to try this out and got loads of build errors something like 40 or so.
I have included the builder.log to see if I am doing anything stupid. Please advise

Thanks

[EDIT] I seem to be having problems with the gbpvr plugin I clicked on config and it says it cannot find the path specified, see below:
