Try that patch a few posts up, and set it to run comskip (after the recording) in the config app. It should do it. If it doesnt, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.
i think i got it working it didnt show up workinbg straight away with the postprocessing.bat that came with comskip
had 2 recordings going at same time mpeg showed up straiaght away the dvr-ms starting a bit after
if i use that patch could i do away with the postprocessing.bat
seems to work fine thanks for that
its one of those pain in the ass things cause you really have to wait for things to happen to see if its going to work
thanks for that
only down side is i cant watch from the recordings ready list or live from the client
owell cant have everything

What do you mean? Are you referring to using the DVR-MS mux with in-progress recordings or live tv? If so, then yes this is a limitation. You can use other muxes for these purposes from a client.
i cant use other muxes i get to many lost frames
just cant work out why
the 1307 cyberlink mux is the closest ive got to working but still not happy with it
not your problem its my crap setup might try a new lnb in the hope of a stronger signal

I too have tried a few versions of the cyberlink mux and a recent ati mux with poor results. My signal strength strong ( I am 5 miles from the source), so I would bet that a new lnb may not improve the mux performance (though it never hurts to improve you signal strength. Speaking of signal strength, I haven't been able to view it on screen during livetv (I think I used to be able to by pressing ctrl O), is it gone with pvrx2?
I may play around again with my muxes...I will let you know if I have success.
sounds like you hae done the same as me there is just something up with how it works
im no expert dont even know what im doing most of the time
its always just trial and error
i also wonder if it could be a disk writing problem/or cpu overload
keep me posted anyway
Keep in mind you both have very different types of transmissions. stustunz is receiving 576i PAL (analog or DVB). linene is receiving up to 1080i ATSC. Most ATSC users have problems with the Cyberlink or ATI mux, so I'm not surprised to hear linene has problems with these.
