Do you have this setting in your config.xml?

<UsePowerDVD8ForTS>true</UsePowerDVD8ForTS>

lchiu7 Wrote:I recall sub saying that the temporary fix he has implemented only uses the Cyberlink PDVD8 codec for playback, not live viewing where it still uses the Monogram codec. One thing you could try (out of interest) is to go into config and unclick the option to show live TV as live. This I think always records the signal and then plays it back instantly. That way you would be using the Cyberlink codec rather than the Monogram one. Of course to be able to stop/start/rewind live TV you need to be recording the signal and playing it back anyway

I'm not doing *ANY* live TV - the Recording card is in a different pc to the playback pc.

Anyone else having problems with TV3 not playing at all (It displays a frame - skipping refreshes the single frame but it never plays).

Perhaps this will work

http://www.cyberlink.com/multi/cyberstor...7_ENU.html

It must be some sort of DS filter - the question is, can gbpvr use it? At $40 it's not so bad

Just FYI there is a new version of Monogram out. I haven't tested it yet however.

In my attempt to fix this problem I installed PowerDVD8 and followed the suggestions in this thread. (native utilities and config.xml changes).

The picture didn't display at all to start with after this, I then changed the H.264 codec to "CyberLink H.264/AVC Decoder (PDVD8)".

This helped me get TV1, 2, and 3 and the HD test channel. But chan4, tvnz6, tvnz7 are now all scrambled.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Can you post a screenshot so I know what you mean?
