Thinking about this, it might make more sense to use Webradio, since it will expose the metadata in Now Playing, if McBainUK doesn't do this now.

Is there, or is there not a npvr spotify plugin? Where can I download it (or the test version)?

ok, but how will I operate 2 plugins at the same time?
1. Start MusicSpot and start playing Spotify 2. Exit MusicSpot and enter Webradio 3. Start Webradio to get metadata and playing info. 4. Go back into MusicSpot and change song/album (stop, skip, pause, etc) 5. Back again to Webradio for playing info Is this how it will work or am I missing something? \\Agerdin

A NextPVR port of the GB-PVR's Music Spot plugin does exist but it's not available yet. There's still some things to sort out before it's worth letting you guys loose on it.

I have a working NPVR Music Spot plugin but it has problems with the Spotify application stealing focus and jumping to the front. It also has trouble reading current track details from the Spotify window. The plugin has lots of logging but requires time to investigate.

McBainUK, sounds promising. Looking forward to a beta to help you out in the testing.
Personally Im not too concerned about the focus problem as I am going to try to set it up through dsbrigde and the Webradio plugin. \\Agerdin

McBainUK, there are changes in the next version of WebRadio and NextPVR that will make playback via dsbridge much easier.
