You can always add your recording directory to Videos and just use the Video library to access your recordings if that works better. I'm sure Sub will implement the Resume function in Videos real soonCool

Is there anything you would like me to try?

Unfortunately I'm busy with day job stuff the next couple of days, but you can bump the thread after that.

Sorry to bump this thread Sub, but since I've got my NPVR HD TV working, the problem I originally reported here seems to have returned. After a random time of watching a live BBC-HD stream, the client will just lock up. I turned the slip file log back on and the output from that together with client and server logs are attached. I suspect the problem is actually different as the times are very random - varying from <1 minute to 20 minutes on subsequent occasions.

I cant see any obvious cause in those logs. I'll try to add some additional logging for the next release though.

Sub, just to eliminate some stuff, I installed 1.4.7 onto the same client, with the same driver and filter set. It has run for 12 hours playing non stop BBC-HD without a hiccup. So the only variables are:- Different server (win7hp instead of Vista ultimate but similiar hardware) and NPVR instead of GBPVR.

I'm having a similar issue with the freezing. I haven't tested Live TV because I don't ever use it, but I am having trouble with playing recordings. Every 4 to 8 seconds the video will freeze and then after a couple seconds play normally for 4 to 8 seconds and then freeze again, etc. Sorry I didn't gather any logs, but I do know some of the problem:
I tried playing in a window and brought up task manager along side NPVR. I noticed that every time the video would freeze that there was a spike in network activity. At the time, I was on a 100mbps wired connection; although I don't think it gets the whole 100 (bad wiring, maybe; it supposed to be 1gbps). The used bandwidth would stay between 15-20 when video was normal, up to 50-75 when freezing. After seeing this I connected to a different network port that connects at 1gbps. Now the video plays fine! (although now I've discovered another error that happens after a few minutes; I'll need to investigate that) The temporary solution was just to play recordings through the video menu. It works whether on 100mbps or 1gbps and no errors.
The computer playing the video is a Windows XP machine, btw. Never had any problems with GB-PVR (once I found the codecs that worked best, anyway) My server machine is Windows 7- it also works fine with GB-PVR and so far doesn't seem to have any problems recording. My personal computer is also Windows 7 and the NPVR client runs great with no problem on recordings or Live TV. I wonder if XP has anything to do with the network issue? My win7 computer connects at 1gbps so its hard to tell.
