Ok i am putting my two cents in..If actors are going to be implemented..
1. They should only be the actors you want.
2. No gallery slows up downloading info.(like how many pics do you need of bruce willis).
3. Don't matter how cute he is.
4. give reven credit for writing such great work
5. Quit complaining about bugs in the plugin..(Asking for help is always a better approach).
6. Complaining will get nowhere with reven?
7. Enjoy the plugins he writes OR WRITE THEM YOURSELF.

My 2 cents worth..keep plugin away reven.

ive begun working on downloading when needed, it just downloads the urls to the images and stores them in the database, then it takes about <1 second to download each image when you browse through them in the gallery and then saves them to the database. (best of both worlds, can never have enough pictures of alyssa milano).

removal is possible, but it will always download them all we you scan (or just a single lookup)

ive decided to make it configurable which fields must have values in order for an actor to be added to the database. options are
- headshot
- biography
- date of birth
- place of birth.

it cuts out most of the actors no one has ever heard of (especially the headshots, but some good ones get cut eg "Kevin Conroy&quot.

- Gallery works, it downloads the url when you do an imdb search, and then it will download the images into the database we you first try and view that image (takes about a second to download).
- Can sort by "Movies" now (theres another word on the end of that, which is cut off (i cant remember what that word is, could be count?). Anyone have a better name for sorting by the number of movies (something short, "Number of Movies" is to long, and "NOM" or "N.O.M." both look weird).
- fixed a few bugs here and there.

this will automatically add another table and upgrade your database (from either version 2.1.10.0 or 2.1.99.x, so anyone who is using a relatively new version of my vids can use this without losing any info).

FF - Next actor
RW - Previous Actor
Left/Right
- Bio mode - next/prev actor
- Gallery mode - next/prev image
- Movies mode - navigation, just like the rest of my vids.
Yellow/Blue - Page Up/Page Down
Red - nothing (its a conflict with RW, so will go to previous actor)
Green - next view (for movies mode).

Actors List
- same as rest of my vids. (except no popup menu and no imdb best effort search).

todo:
- include duplicate titles in the number of movies (ie ifyou have 12 episode of "Enterprise" for "Scott Bakula" currently it just shows up as 1, not 12).
- No Photo Found image
- Keypad access for video files.
- threads.

Great Job with the new version Reven - I've been following your updates for quite a while and everything works ok for me without any noticable bugs. just a thought about all the images in the gallery. are they being stored on my hard-disk permanantly or temporary etc?
