Recording service problem

Sub, I found out that restarting the recording service causes a problem AFTER the pc has gone to and woken from sleep.

It doesn't cause any problems here, and I've not seen any other reports (for this fairly common activity), so I'm thinking it's something environmental to your machine.

I don't think so. I put my computer to sleep every day except for patch Tuesdays and probably restart the recording services 100's of times in the course of a month.

oh, I had it in my head that you were 4 hours behind my time, the next day; I guess it's only 3 hours. maybe it's during our daylight savings time that it's 4 hours.

I think WKleeven's problem was simply that he had "NPVRServiceControl.exe Start" in the resume.bat, so NRecord ends up trying to start itself again. If this succeeds, it's going to make a mess.
