You can access the list of themes using the Yellow button on your remote control or ctrl-Y on your keyboard.

The 'default' theme is the BlueMCE one I believe.

That is odd, you downloaded and installed Community Skin and the SkinPlugin 2.2.0 download ?

If so, you should have an install log in the skin\Community folder and skin\SkinPlugin folder. Those would tell me if everything is installed correctly.

Also, are you trying this through the MVP?

tipstir Wrote:Done see attach... Yes I've tried this on the MVP and on the GBPVR Server PC. I haven't tried the client. You had CS and this huge SkinPlugin file. I had installed CS then SkinPlugin and it still didn't work...

I see you have a 64-bit chip, are you by chance using the 64-bit windows XP? I've seen some problems with several plugins and also the SkinPlugin related to "c:\program files (x86)" folder vice "c:\program files" and also that HKLM\Software is stored in a different location for 32-bit apps on a 64-bit OS.

Just a thought.

Could you attach a full log?

It works with XP64 as it is aware of the different program files / registry paths. (as I have Windows XP64 on my dev machine :p )

The skin install log tells me the skin itself is installed correctly. You didn't post the SkinPlugin_install.log.

What I expect is in the SkinPlugin_install.log there are these lines...

Extract: CommonGBPVRUtilities.dll
Extract: GbpvrUiElements.dll
Extract: SkinPluginHelper.exe
Output folder: C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Plugins
Extract: SkinPlugin.dll
Extract: SkinPluginConfig.xml

All that would tell me everything is installed correctly.

Like McBainUK (the plugin developer) said, reproduce the error and post the normal set of full logs.

I downloaded and installed skinplugin_setup.exe 2.2.0 and CommunitySkin-WS_setup.exe 1.0.5. The logs are attached.

In GBPVR, when I try to select the Skin button to edit the skin configuration, I get the error "Error: Could not find a part of the path C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\skinplugin\tvguides". In the skinplugin directory there is a TVGuideGrids directory, but no "tvguides". What am I missing?

Thanks, Pete

Ok, that is the same problem tipstir has. I missed something in the installer when
I split it up. The TvGuides was meant to be with the CommunitySkin installer (and The Widescreen Installer, to keep those versions separate.)

Have a fix on wiki in 5 minutes.
