If you look in "\gbpvr\skin2\community3" you should find an install log. Post that.
Also look in "\gbpvr\plugins\skinplugin\" and post that install log.

Lastly, recreate the error and attach the pvrx2.exe.log file found in "\gbpvr\logs\".

As I was trying attach the logs you requested I was able to fix the problem. I can now us the skin plugin. Awesome job! The community skin and skin plugin are definately the way to go.

I cleaned up the plugins folder by deleting most of my plugins and reinstalled those that I wanted to use. Apparently there was one conflicting with the skin plugin.

Questions regarding the TV Guide: Has anybody thought about extending the program listing area to 3 hours (for wide screeen monitors)? I know this is not easy, I can change the layout and sizes of the objects on the screen, but cannot change the number of rows in the program listing.

Second (and last question) does anyone know how to make the font sharp (ie not blurry) in the guide's program listing? I have tried changing the available font sizes in the tv guide skin.xml and baseskin.xml (not many variables)

I think these might go beyond a skin, but it was straight-forward with the 0.99.12 version, and thought I would ask.

I don't think right now there is a way to add another hour. I think I have read that from sub in another thread.

You might try a different font in the baseskin.xml line...

Someone before noticed that "Tahoma" seemed clearer than "Airal" on Hi-Res displays. This will also be a global change on all screens.

(That is a new feature of the skin, that the font style is only defined in one place to make a global change).

I will stop looking for a way to make a third hour...

The change of the default font does make a difference. It appears to me that the font in the listings is distorted perhaps by length. All of the other fonts are crystal clear.

Great looking skin guys! I was wondering if I was doing something wrong, I can't get the "next recording" or "weather" to display on the main menu. Any ideas?

PVRX2 doesn't support main menu "panels" yet. This is the same as blue.
