Are you suggesting I should just give up on NextPVR and look for another live tv recording solution?  Or, is there a solution you and/or sub are trying to figure out to make the playback work? 

I am intending to take another look at it, but just busy with day job stuff so haven't found time to come back to it yet.

Garufa, when you get a chance, update your NShared.dll to the version attached, and capture a new set of verbose logs, and supply them for myself and Martin again.

This version adds additional logging, around the segment identifiers used to prevent reprocessing the same file more than once.

There are two (2) NShared.dll file locations: C:\Program Files\NextPVR and C:\Program Files\NextPVR\client.

I'm assuming I'll need to unzip the NShared.zip file and replace its contents with the NShared.dll files in both directories listed above; correct?

After replacing the NShared.dll files, I'm assuming I should: 1) restart my PC/NextPVR, 2) start the NextPVR Web App, 3) turn on verbose logging in settings....then what?  

1. Should I pick a program from the TV guide to record without watching the program, or
   
2. Should I select a program from the TV Guide and just watch it, or 
   
3. Something else...?

Stop the NextPVR service, replace the file in C:\Program Files\NextPVR, then restart the service. Go to the Settings page and enable verbose logging, then view the channel from the TV Guide or Channels page.
