DH,

I made it to step 2 of the download, about 25% into it. No errors so far. I'll let you know when I get to the finish.

Great! I will get the updated version out today.

If one/both of you would be so kind as to write a review on netflix at: http://www.netflix.com/AppDisplay?id=212...gl-it-2121 I would appreciate it. I have a few 1 star reviews saying the database builder kept crashing, but no one posted on the forum, so I didn't get it fixed until now. If you could write that the database builder crash problem has been fixed I would greatly appreciate it (Netflix doesn't allow me to respond to reviews).

Thanks,

I ahve a few questions for you, so i can try and get this fixed:

Are you having the same problem as cooper and richt for the full database build?
Are you in the US or in canada?
Do you have any log files that you can post?
Which program version are you running?

The queue only approach does run the builder, but only for your queue. Total build time should be about 20 seconds - 2 minutes.

I got the full version to work. 2.9.1.1. It download in 2 hours and works but I'm interested in the que only version. It asked me to download a new version which I did. I extracted it to a new folder. Extracted the que only folder. Copied the movieinfo and movieinfo_blank files to the installed dir. and got the same thing. It said I have no movies and would start the database builder. The status window comes up and it hangs. Previous versions worked for me. I'm not in the great white north.

Sorry about that, i made soem changes to the main program and it affected my queue only users. i forgot about you guy. :o

Yeah, it hung on me the first time through the database builder. Once I opened the main program the second time, it worked. Try reopening the main program and it should hopefully work for you. I will fix the database builder problem too in my next build, I need to add a setting for queue only to the ini file. Let me know if opening it a second time fixes it. After that you should never need the database builder exe file again.

Hey, there's at least two of us using queue only. Wink BTW, since your at it, could you make the database update "nag" configurable, i.e., able to be turned off completely, rather than just extended up to 90 days? If there was a hack, that would be OK with me; something like change a file date, or registry.

Thanks for the continuing good work.

Apparently all my queue only people are Mikes Smile

You can actually set the update as high as 2,147,483,647 days. Which is never essentially Big Grin but yes, i need to cater a bit better to my queue only constituancy. Once I add in the queue only variable, I can fix it so it never bugs you about the database update.

It should perform a database update everytime you open the program for queue only, so you shouldn't be getting bugged anyway. I'll check into it and fix it in the next release.
