An update for everyone: It has been reported to me that the TV series that are in the "new format" do not show up in the program queue. I have confirmed that this is a Netflix issue and is not the fault of my player. I have reported this issue to Netflix and at least 2 other developers have reported the same issue. Hopefully they will fix this shortly, I'll keep you all apprised.

Netflix has responded and they are working on a fix, I should know more on Monday.

FYI. This is slated to be fixed by the end of the week by Netflix.

I can not for the life of me get this working anymore. I have removed everything related to the program (tried searching the registry, removed everything I found under %user%, removed the program itself, etc.) I can't get it to work. I have logged out of netflix.com, I have tried setting it to queue only. At best I can get the program to open but it will just loop on downloading the queue information. I have spent hours on this (because it has to rebuild the damn database every time I start over). Does anyone have any suggestions? Or should I just give up?

Right now, I have a fresh build, I set it to queue only, and it still loops downloading the information for the queue - which only has 14 movies in it. What is going on? The logs show nothing, and it just keeps on looping.

Just did a fresh install on another computer and it does the exact same thing.

I attached the entire contents (very small) of them MovieInfo folder all logs are included.

What windows verison are you using?

I have had this problem occassionally and rebooting my router/modem sometimes fixes it. Try that first.

I'm assuming that when you refer to %user% you mean the "C:\Documents and Settings\[USER NAME]\Local Settings\Application Data\DHGB256" directory? If not, go to that directory and delete all of the files and see if that works.

Other thing that it might be, is the Netflix API might not be working correctly. Can you tell me what 14 movies are in your queue and I'll check to see if one of them isn't downloading properly.

If none of that works, then I'll get a test verison for you. I'll get you up and running if you are willing to troubleshoot for me Smile

I am running Windows XP, my "router" is a Freebsd box running nat - I can't remember the last time it had to be rebooted.

Yes, I am referring to that directory.

The 14 movies in the queue are :
Creepshow
Full Metal Jacket
La Femme Nikita
Dorian Gray
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
One Flew Over the Cuckoos nest
Salt
(Saved Instant)
The Exorcist
Heart and Souls
The Neverending Story
Donnie Brasco
Hook
Ace Ventura - Pet Detective
Black Sheep

Should I try removing all of those, not that I care if they are in the queue.

Edit - I removed everything, it is now sitting at step 2 of 2 (downloading movie info for genre: my queue) and not moving.
Edit 2 - I added one movie to my watch now queue - A Clockwork Orange (first I saw) and it is still doing the same thing, sticking at step 2. I am going to remove everything again and see if that does anything. Now it is doing the looping again. Do you really think I should restart my "router"?

Argh! Netflix must have changed something on their site again! Mine is looping too. I'll get to the bottom of it and get an update out ASAP. Thanks for the heads up!

There appears to be a major problem with Netflix's API catalogue. So there are probably going to be problems using the program over the next few days. I'll keep you updated.

New version is being loaded now, it should fix the problems discussed above. Let me know if it doesn't. This is the first version with an installer, so you will now be able to uninstall my program if needed. Future versions will upgrade files as needed too, so no need to backup your ini and ntf files.
