You are right. Most of the Themes on GBPVR wiki are still on version 2.2, where the path is "hardcoded". (Sorry, I forgot about that) Only 10 Themes have support for the SkinRoot variable.
That is why I ask all of you to rename your current BaseSkin to Advisor.....or rename this Advisor skin to BaseSkin and drop the files over your current BaseSkin.
Or drag your Advisor.XXXX themes to the Advisor skin.

If I add an image or a change to the skin, I have 40 Themes to update. When I compile a ThemePacke it is automatically updated to the BaseSkin wiki.....but with the GBPVR wiki there are lots of manual steps for upload. Thats why....
Themes on the BaseSkin Wiki are more updated than those on the GBPVR Wiki

What do you mean by botton showing correctly.
There is something strange with this plugin and the buttons....like the text is moving down. Nothing I can do about it in the skin, what I know of.

sorry should be clearer - the buttons show up correctly - but when using the advisor themepacks it still uses the original buttons - not the ones that come with the theme packs....

thanks for that - its much better - im using the Advisor.HDEETV theme but the buttons are still not quite right - they have the theme for the selected button - but the normal button is kinda green not grey. and on the front screen ive lost the small and large gamepad icons..

if the wife lets me on the machine long enough i will take a screen shot of what i mean.

ok so now ive uploaded some screenshots of my skin issues...

1st issue
"new picture.jpg" and "new picture1.jpg" show there is no images for games - i thought the pic of the gamepad was mean to show on the left like the bit camera shown in one of the "new picture1.jpg" . and a smaller version on the right like the camera on

2nd issue
"new picture2.jpg" and "new picture3.jpg" show what i mean for this - when you first open the plugin it comes up with a nice green menu button and a grey one - just the way it should be but when you move the selected button back and forth the grey button stays a very light shade of green - all other plugins like photo library and gmail etc stay grey

can you help with those ?

cheers
skip

edit - forget about the first issue - found the task.png and replaced the one that was there with a gamepad one - so its just my green button issue.

cheers

There is a "bug" in that plugin on how it draws buttons. It doesn't "clear" out buttons before drawing new ones. It draws new ones over the top of old ones. Semi-transparent or transparent buttons don't work well with this plugin because of that. As you move your selection up and down between those buttons, they eventually look the same.

Textstyles also show up like this.
