Is there a way to make it use that
as i know that if it has it.It will be correct where as downloading its not always going to 100% ie die hard it said it was a animation and had no detail where as the meta data i already had the full description
I mainly just want the folder jpeg

Yes, I think I can make a change like this. I'll take a look at making a change in a future version.

Nope, but let me take a look at it tonight, I'll see if there is any short term way to get something to work for you.

Just tried the program, works great. One problem I see, and don't know if it's data/xml or skin related, rating data is showing up as runtime (Runtime 7.6/10).

Also, some LocalTitle data include "More at IMDb Pro >>". Any way to eliminate that (other than editing each xml)?
What, me worry?

yeah that was the main bit i didnt like and also the description wasnt as good as the one i get from my tv guide data
but if i say import a movie not recorded in gbpbvr then i want the data used
but i guess this is easier said than done as the meta data i already have(recorded on gbpvr) is embedded in the file

I will fix those errors. You might try pulling down the most current WizDLLs, that may fix some things. I plan on adding a source priorty for the data, so if it is found in the EPG, it will use that first, if not found it will go to the internet etc...

WizMetadataGrabber (latest version)

Feature request - would love it if it could find movie data using the folder name in the PATH of the folder containing video_ts...

Example my dvds are in
z:\dvds\name\fulldisk\DISKNAME\video_ts

where name is the name I used when I ripped it and DISKNAME is the name off the disk itself...

So, under Main for the utility need a checkbox to 'use path not exts' and then search for files would find all paths that contain video_ts folders, and use say the parent dir name as the movie name.

Is that doable?
