UK Freesat Tuning Information

I couldn't find anything like that on my Win8 fresh install (though I'll check again now that I have the path from you). I ended up creating the Tuning folder in the application directory as stated and that added the option to the dropdown in the device setup dialog.

However, it's more the point about getting the first post in this thread updated with this info that's important. It will help users in future who stumble across this in a search ('Freesat', sort by most recent).

I've updated the first post with some extra instructions.

And any fresh install I've seen has always had the folder there by default.

There's been a lot of changes over the last week as the physical satellites are being moved around and loads of channels have moved transponder. I'll post an update once things have settled back down - right now I'm still struggling to track down a few channels*, despite super-helpful sites like kingofsat and lyngsat.

(* movies4men and euronews (in English) if anyone else can find them)

Thanks, I'd seen those posts, but my tuner doesn't seem to find movies4men anywhere. It is now finding euronews, but English isn't the first language. You can get to it with alt+g and selecting it though.

(I don't actually care about either of these channels personally, but it's nice to try and get the ini file correct for those that might)

First post updated once again. There's been a lot of changes so I can't be sure everything is correct - let me know of any obvious cock-ups you might encounter.

I'll also probably move this ini file to the wiki when I get a chance. I think it makes more sense to host it there than in this thread.
