Damn, I confirmed that the canadian catalog was a different size than the US one. Can you do me a favor, go to the netflix website and look up the movie that isn't loading. See if it says available soon for instant watching. It may be that the movie is coming soon, or it may have expired recently. Also, let me know the movie name and I'll check my copy of the catalog to see what is going wrong. I am still working on getting the user raings up and running.

Can you confirm for me that you are able to rate the movies. I can't get anyone to help me on the forum, it seems there aren't any experts on the canadian API Sad

for #1 Cheerleader Camp I recieve the following error
Code:
Movie unavailable
Our apologies - the movie you requested is not available at this time.
and netflix's website says the same "This title is unavailable" for #1 Cheerleader Camp.

For 100 Women I just get a blank screen with no audio, my router confirms that the computer is using 0 k/sec. Netflix's website has the title available for me to instant stream. I also tried 2 Days in Paris with the same results.

I was able to rate 100 women through your interface and the change came up on netflix's site so you got that working!

Does the movie play through IE properly? The playing of the movies is not handled by my app, it is through a webbrowser that I embedded into my program. So that is completely controlled through silverlight. If it plays properly in IE it should play just fine in my app.

So are the star ratings working during the database update? If you are able to rate the movies, you should be able to download the star ratings. I'm not sure why it isn't working. Can you send me your latest database update logs? I'd like to see all the ones you have available.

Plays fine in ie9. Now its showing every movie as two stars because I rated 100 women as two stars, its the yellow stars as in one I rated myself rather than the predicted orange stars. I noticed too that Ghandi isn't in my list on your program, perhaps its a Canadian only title. I've very sure Canadian is set to true.

OK, that definitely helped. I also figured out that I was calling the US movie address for playing the movies, so that likely accounts for the errors you were receiving. Please try the attached and let me know if it works better for you. Please send me any logs you get during the build as well.

Thanks!

Is there a way to set the genre to "Display All"?

I imagine what you are looking for is highly rated movies in all genres, if so go to the search menu (ctrl-s) and select movies you'll love from the menu, that will get you the highest rated movies you haven't seen yet in all genres. Let me know if that isn't what you are looking for.
