My Video / My dvd

Hi

You may remember I had problems some months ago.....

anyway, I've rebuilt the PC since then.....and have reinstalled everything.....still can't get MyVideos/DVDs to work.....

the demux.ajb file is created - I think the problem is when it tries to run MPLEX. Below is the demux file, and what the cmd line prog is doing....

Is the Mplex version correct? Is the DVDauthor version correct?

pva doesnt seem to be creating the "C:\temp\temp.mpv" "C:\temp\temp.mpa" files.

I've got a feeling that was the problem before......argh! so I've got no further.....

Ok - I've just managed to burn a DVD!!!

The thing I've changed, is that I downloaded an older version of PVAinstrumento - 2.02.7 (I think) as I'd seen on the message boards for PVA, that the newer versions don't like DVB-T broadcasts....mine just crashed straight away - even using the GUI.

Trouble is - tried it again with another file....(thinking I was on a roll) and it now isn't working again!!! Seems to be running the "DVDauthorgui" bit, which I think is stage 2, and then stops completely.

seems alright again now....wonder if it has a problem with long filenames...as that's really the only think I've changed to get it working.

yeah i never tested it on DVB broadcasts, so cant help you there.

im not even sure if demuxing/remuxing those files will help. i know it will "fix" normal mpeg2 files from a pvr150 etc for dvdauthor.

try googling dvdauthor and DVB you might find a guide to burning them.
