I've had the same problem for the last 2 or 3 builds. For me it's to do with cancelling an (active?) recording - once I do that, Live TV always quits the same (about 30secs in) until I restart the recording service. It seems as though the cancel command is never cleared.

Note I'm running 0.96.12.

_gl, can you try to find and describe the exact set of steps to reproduce the problem. If you can, then I'll fix it for the next release.

In my case, I have two tuner cards configured - one a blackbird and other an ATSC. With only the Blackbird card configured, I never have this problem. But, with both cards configured, LiveTV quits in short duration after any recording - until the recording service is restarted.

Hey Sub,

I just tried to repro by setting up manual recordings and cancelling them once they kick in, but it doesn't happen there. I can tell you though that with normal scheduled recs it happens most days. As Bleb is down my guide is currently empty, but as soon as I have something reliable I'll post again.

Sub...
Just curious to see if you found anything with the logs I posted on this issue.

No, nothing that pin-pointed the problem.

Hey Sub,

I have LiveTV quitting again - I kept re-entering it a few times after it timed out and attached all logs from that session.

Have limited time, but a v. quick scan of the logs suggests that a conflicting scheduled recording (albeit for tomorrow) is somehow messing things up - or maybe it's unrelated...

Sorry to come in so late. I had this issue myself. The only way to resolve it is to completely remove all traces of GBPVR from your system and do a fresh install with the latest build. It sucks but it works. You will need to set everything back up and reschedule all your recordings.
