crash when FF hits end of show being recorded

Has anyone else had a problem fastforwarding into the end of the file while it is still recording on your MVP. I often start shows 10 minutes late or so then FF through the commercials. Only problem is when you fast forward into the end of the file, the MPV dies. It kind of recovers on reboot but it seems like it behaves really strangely afterwords and gets really slow until I restart GBPVR.
It would be nice if GBPVR would block you from running into the end of the file. It could force pause or go into standard play mode if there was less than 30 seconds left on an actively recording file.

Just wanted to bump this thread. I, too, have this issue with fast-forwarding. Anyone else?

I am using version 97.9 of GBPVR with the standard dongle.bin, and when watching shows while they are recording the mvp will reboot if i skip into the last few seconds of the file or past the end. Any solutions would be appreciated.
