This is an "Appearance Pack" of what I started.

If someone wants me to develop it more I may finish it but it may take a few weeks. Hurray for me my work picked up to be starting 55 hours a week, starting sometime next week for the next 3 months. Plus I started a part time job for 15-20 hours a week (that I plan on keeping). I nabbed the part time job when we were down to 35 hours.

Gotta run kid's soccer game. (I know "football" or something crazy like that for 99% of the world )

Most plugins are now skinned. The exception is the "My Series". I will do those after the next release is out and Reven has a chance to finalize the skinning of those plugins.

I think there are a few plugins I may have missed, I will run thru the list and double check later in the week.

I will be updating this skin and it should be ready by friday (my goal).

Also, full baseskin image integration has been finished in my development version. This will allow Chameleon users to use advisor themepacks in the future. I will have to get MixMan's support on a few issues to be fully functional. This skin from its inception was to be 100% Advisor and 100% Appearance Manager compliant and I am almost there.

The difference from BaseSkin will be:

• Full Appearance Manager support
  
• Many Plugin skins are different (some less obvious than others).
  

In its core, it is "BaseSkin". It is just a plugin layout variant. I will also need to create a Advisor.Chameleon themepack that will return the skin to its default state, and allow BaseSkin users to use the same mainmenu layout.

I will start a new thread when the new release it introduced.

Keep up the good work man. I will have a look at your skin and see what good ideas/improvements you have come up with. Have you seen the Movies ThemePack I uploaded last Saturday?

Did you know that you can make ThemePacks for the Chameleon, by just changing a path in the sfxoptions.txt file. I would love to see you create ThemePacks.

I haven't had much time to do anything constructive since I started a part-time job on the weekends. I have not done anything in about two weeks with my skin publically.

Will have to take a look at baseskin 2.2 now to see if you introduced anything new.

What else did you "catch" as being new besides the OSD?

So far I have only found a line with status text for EPG Update button.....in the system skin.

I introduced a Fonts sub dir in the ThemePack, but I haven't uploaded a Theme with fonts yet.
SharperEdge will have the Blank font.
LCARS will have a LCARS will have a LCARS.TTF font.

It is hard to find nice fonts with all international characters, but I would love to have some cool ScreenNames.
I will make a Theme with a cool "Title" font

Ok, I will add it.

I didn't add to Chamelelon:
"..\background_mask.png" or any of the other "..\background_mask_*" yet.

Are they being used by any theme? If you are reserving it for future use, I may add it later once a theme uses it.

I added the mask I some creative graphical artist would like to add 3D shadow/lightning efftects to the submenus.
But the are not many Photoshop people on this forum. It seems like other PVR sites have many more skilled graphical artists.
The best skin ever made is the Mayhem3 in my opinion. Mathias Mahling is really good with colors and details.

I will never use the masks. I just want to find the limits for the XMLs, by testing new ideas for a skin. I wouldn't call myself a skinner, more an explorer of possibilities.
