So Skype a few months ago released an open API. I have found a .NET port that seems to have some good functionality. I wanted to get some requirements and ideas for a UI.
Requirements -
View Buddy List ( with icon support )
Add a Buddy
Place a Active Call
View Missed Calls
View Active Calls
Mute Call
Current User Status
Other things
- View chat messages
- Send chat message
- Chat message history
- Version info
- Search for User
- Lookup user profile.
What should the UI format be?
Skype's interface.
http://www.skype.com/products/screenshots.html
Is it better to structure it like theater or recordings? With a button for each type of operation
Buddy List, Active Calls, Missed Calls, Active Chats, Missed Chats etc....
I am not sure if I how much time I have to work on it but I might start it.
