I'm running the most recent version of GBPVR, I applied the MVP reboot fix weeks ago, and now I can't watch 10 minutes of a show over my MVP...

Here's the error:

Can you post a complete log file with this error?

I notice you werent playing a file in that log when the error occurred. What were you doing at the time?

Hmmm, I was playing files. It crashed 3-4 times since 10pm tonight. I thought that was the file, but here's all of the logs.

As a side thought, I noticed my db was up to 1.3GB again, so I compacted it and in general my MVP performance is about 100% better. Could this be the cause? (I just started watching again to test)

The one gbpvr.exe.log file in that set didnt contain this error. None of the backup files (gbpvr.exe.log-1, -2, -3) were included in the zip.

GB-PVR wasnt playing a file in that log that had the error, but if you are sure you were playing a file, is it possibly you left one of the two Hauppauge MVP services running? This can cause a situation where GB-PVR shows the interface and the Hauppauge software tries to play the file...which leads to all sorts of unexpected problems.

If thats not the case, have another go at providing a gbpvr.exe.log that shows the error.

In my daytime job, I'm a competent system admin. I swear. I'm sorting by file type in windows, but it's not grouping all of the log files together. Enough excuses. It just crashed again. Here's me logs:

Both of the MVP services are stopped and disabled.

I'm not seeing what I'm looking for in these logs. Are you running more than one MVP server? If so, can you bump it back to one MVP server to make sure we get all the messages?

With multiple servers running, only the first instance produce logs.

I can see the logs produced by one instance, but its not playing a file.
