Hi,

suddenly my Nova T 90002 does not work anymore. I reinstalled my complete system recently and got GBPVR to work after installing. Now it stopped working. I tried to reinstall the capture source, but when pushing the button to map the channels to the EPG (EPG data is there) I get the message that the card is not properly configured or in use. In the config.exe it says "Index out of range" when starting the BDARecorder.

The config.exe.log is attached.

Can you help?

Greetings Jui

PS: The card is working fine with WinTV2000 from Hauppauge

Can you try deleting in *.cache files in the "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\bda" directory? I'm guessing you've ended up with a corrupt entry in one of those files.

Thank you sub.

Deleting the two *.cache files helped a little. Now the scan starts, but it does not find any channels. It goes through the frequency without finding anything.

Log file is attached. The card is working fine with the WinTV2000 application. Is there maybe any Codec mismatch or problem?

Greetings

Try running the ReRegisterFilters.bat. If it still doesnt work, post both the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Hi Sub,

I executed the reregistering filter batsch file and did a fresh scan. But it did not find any channels. In the attachment you find the log files.

Great if you can have a look.

I'd have to guess its a problem with the "uninvited" directshow filter I've highlighted below.
Quote:15:35:14.968 VERBOSE Graph contains the following filters:
15:35:14.968 VERBOSE - Default DirectSound Device
15:35:14.968 VERBOSE - MediaPortal Stream Analyzer
15:35:14.968 VERBOSE - GB-PVR PSI Parser
15:35:14.968 VERBOSE - VMR9
15:35:14.968 VERBOSE - Mpeg2Dec Filter
15:35:14.968 VERBOSE - MPEG Audio Decoder
15:35:14.968 VERBOSE - GB-PVR Flow Status
15:35:14.968 VERBOSE - MPEG-2 Demultiplexer
15:35:14.968 VERBOSE - Hauppauge WinTV 88x TS Capture
15:35:14.968 VERBOSE - Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-T Tuner/Demod
15:35:14.968 VERBOSE - Microsoft DVBT Network Provider

Hi Sub,

so you think it is not possible to have the latest version of Mediaportal and GBPVR running on the same machine?

I have that parallel installation since a couple of months and do updates of both programms regularly, but never had that problem.

Greetings and thank you for looking in the logs

If you can find a way from stopping it auto-loading it's directshow filters into my graph, then I cant see any reason why they cant be installed in the same machine.

You're probably best asking them about this on the Mediaportal forum, since this is something they've coded it to do. I've seen a few reports of this recently and I'm getting sick of it. Hopefully they'll give you info on how to do this in a tidy way... otherwise I'm going to start deleting that specific Mediaportal DLL from the Mediaportal directory when GB-PVR starts. That'll stop it from loading.

btw. after uninstalling Mediaportal GBPVR works fine again.

Thank you for the support and your work Smile
