Noob here!
I just downloaded and setup GB-PVR but I get a black screen. The card is working because i can use the wintv to record things. I download the trial version of power dvd to see if i am simply missing the mpeg-2 decoder but I still get a black screen. Thanks

setup:
Pentium 3 866mhz with Windows XP
512 Ram
WinTv 150
e-Gefrorce 6200
Soundblaster live
cable goes directly into the card

reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

It might not be the only thing going wrong, but it looks like you've got your capture card type set incorrectly. It looks like you've got it setup as a PVR250, but you actually have a PVR150.

that worked my only problem now is that my tv schedule is 3 hours off. Any idea how that happened? Thanks for all of your help.

There could be a few reasons for that. The most common reason is that the timezone is set incorrectly on your PC.

If it was wrong, and you had to adjust it, then you need to do an 'Empty EPG' followed by an 'Updated EPG' to correct the shows that have already been imported.
