Has anyone come up with a similar utility for the new directv d11 boxes which have a usb port instead of a serial port?

Just try using the newer blaster software.. I have one of the new Directv boxes [D12-300] and the code was 0125 and works great with just setting up the capture source using the .exe plugin [Haupblast.exe].
It changes the channels fine, records exactly as it was meant to be... Install the new software, no need to uninstall the older version.. Run the Ir Blaster Config using the normal settings [with apologies] for North America First window - North America second - Sat Third - Directv Fourth- tested code 0125 [as it was one already there] Click next and save and mine worked great. ftp://ftp.shspvr.com/download/irblaster/....24286.exe Newer software is above.. Oh and by the way the IR eye is about 1/2" away from the box... needs to be really close.. am having NO problems at all. Doesn't like the channels in the two digit range but I need to play a little more with it...like "padding" the numbers to add a 0 .. Enjoy.

You may want to check the following thread for the D11.. http://forums.snapstream.com/vb/showthread.php?t=34882 Also, if your D11 recently received an update, the baud rate must be 9600

I'm trying to use this utility with a DTV H10 tuner and it ALMOST works. Most channels will change fine, but any channel with a duplicate digit fails.
For example, channel 276 switches just fine, but when choosing channel 277, I can see the display trying to choose 27. Channel 88 gets tuned to channel 8. The command sequence I'm using is "directv.exe -box D10200 #CHANNEL" Does anyone here have any ideas? |
