My FM Radio doesn't work in the 'Scan' mode, or it 'Scans' but doesn't stop at any station and as a result I can't save my stations.

I know Sub referred to this problem with some Hauppauge cards ( I have a WinPVR 350). But he recommended using the manual 'Add' option intead.

I have the problem in the subject line. I can 'Add' one channel, but every other frequency I attempt to add makes no difference. I still have only the same single channel I first added.

Anyone have a solution? And while I'm at it, in anticipation of solving this problem, is there a way to 'force' the station into 'Mono' to reduce noise issues on weak 'stereo' stations?

Thanks.

There is a bug that would cause this if you've entered two stations with the same name. Apparently its pretty common for user to try to add multiple stations with the default 'UNKNOWN' name.

The next release fixes this.

Thought my eyes were deceiving me when I read a reply while checking my posting !!! Thanks Sub. I didn't realise I had to 'name ' the channel and just keyed in the frequency. I'll have a go at naming the channel now.

Unfortunately, its not that simple. It cant be fixed without deleting this duplicate station name from the database.

Thanks Sub, that solved the problem. There's quite a lag between keyboard input of the frequencies and channel name and their appearance on the GB-PVR screen.
Also, even though I have 'Live Preview' selected and it sometimes works, at other times for no obvious reason when I look at the 'Status' I see that I'm recording to disk. Any idea why?

I dont know. Its not something I've noticed.

Can you try that question again? Are you talking about radio or tv?
