plugins that work under 97.7 and specifically Weather plugin

Jeff/all,

I plan on updating to 97.7 later today but don't want to lose my treasured weather. Does the weather plugin still work or will it need an update? It might also be a good idea to start a thread here in with what is known to work and what doesn't. Sub started a sticky under support but it puts the onus on him to keep it updated with the PM's and he has enough to do with release 97.7 and 2.0. Pretty scary how reliant I've become on GBPVR......

It is working on my machine w/o change, however I have installed an updated version of the video archive plug-in that includes an updated commongbpvrutilities.dll file, and I think that may be required (see http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=16136). Just to be safe I will try to build a new install program for the weather plugin and post it later, but it will probably not be on the wiki site for at least another 12 hours or so given that today is Mother's Day.

It might also be a good idea to start a thread here in with what is known to work and what doesn't.

Can confirm that all my plugins work with the latest .net 2.0 release of GBPVR.

Can confirm that my UbuStream plugin is working fine with 97.7 in "list mode" but that "channel mode" is broken until a 97.7-compliant release of the External Recorder plugin is available. The EPGMovieDate utility appears to run OK with the new release too.

Other observations of plugin status with 97.7 (on my system, at least):

• MyVideos seems to work fine.
  
• The Xrecord plugin (and Xguide, etc.) does not work (can't find the 'GBPVR.Backend.Common.ScheduleHelper.getInstance()' method).
  
• External Recorder does not work (Capture sources using ExternalRecorder as a recording source will not show up and cannot be used).

Haven't switched to SQLite on my main PVR box (where I use MyVideos). Yesterday I could browse video files and play back AVIs with VLC, etc. using MyVideos. Today everything seems to have gone to hell in a hand basket and MyVideos is generating errors (but so is everything else :eek: ). Haven't had time to sort it out yet.

my videos using a method sub removed (moved) and thus will cause errors when trying to look in gbpvr's recording schedule for record show info. sub said he has fixed this, so every version of my vids should work in the next release of gbpvr.

i think there is a problem with "my programs", but i use a different version than the one posted on the wiki, so not 100% about this.

my pics/music/messenger and vidphone all work fine.

I know that XRecord and XGuide both use the same method that Sub moved and that it really needs to make use of IScheduleHelper instead of ScheduleHelper. Fla is probably the most active maintener now of XRecord and XGuide so eventually those programs should be updated to 97.7.

RenameRecording and CDK Scheduler might have problems as well. It should only occur if you are using the new SQL Lite database.

As I'm holding off on upgrading at all (nothing in there to really tempt to upgrade), it may be a while before I update these unless one of the other mainteners does it.
