I must be missing something. I have 0.96.12 and two MVPs. The system has been running since sometime last year, with a recent upgrade to 0.96.12. Not really had a problem until now.

Now one MVP is stuck on the 3 out of 5 bar screen.
I can see that it requests a DHCP address
Receives a DHCP address
Broadcasts to 16867
In the GBPVR log, I can see a incoming request and response.
And thats it.
I haven't rebooted the other, incase that gets stuck too!

If I switch off GBPVR and switch on hauppauge, I get to the contacting server screen. What am I missing. Recently to get it working I had to switch on and off between the two pieces of software to make it load.

So any hints...please.

No not really, but this one has been powered down for a while, hence the reboot needed. And with the hauppauge software it does get further. Its worked fine in the past, but recently getting puzzled how to make it reboot everytime, so today sat down to try and find out (rather than rely on luck).

tipstir Wrote:I have those two also.. Can you disconnect the E1 and just have the D3A try to connect to the GBPVR Server. Make sure you have only the GBPVR Services running and not MediaSV ones from HAU. Can you ping the MVP or see it in your Router?

Nope, now both are sitting stuck on 3/5 bar screen. I seem to remember there was a series of instructions, along the lines of switch hauppauge software on-off, gbpvr on-off and the mvp's boot. I cant find that.

You know sub its your fault I cant upgrade. The software is too production quality for me to take leaps into 0.97 and .net 2.0!!! Smile

If it comes to that I'll have to upgrade then, but normally I am almost a release behind.

Okay went to 0.97. Still no difference. I feel I am missing something. I saw in the logs, again, gbpvr responded to client at its ip address, but the client did nothing.

Okay another update by me, got this working, but installed a dhcp and tftp server on the machine, with the dhcp server saying get this file and the tftp server supplying it, once thats set it works fine, instant and quick.
