Currently, resolving a conflict only allows you to cancel 1 of the conflicting shows, could you add a way to pick which of the conflicting recordings you want to cancel without having to back out and find the other one if it isn't the one that gbpvr lists to "cancel"? not sure if that came across clear.........

Even an external proglet that analysed things would help me and explained in greater depth what was wrong.
I'm getting conflicts on programs that appear to be hours apart when setting up recurring recordings.

If they're hours apart then, they're not a conflict. Its only a conflict if the time overlaps.

If they were manual reoccurring recordings, there is a likely reason for this though. There was a bug resolved in v0.97.7 which would cause manual reoccuring recordings to schedule multiple recordings of the same show at the same time - so in effect it was conflicting with itself (since the times overlap).

It happened again earlier today and with a blank EPG and only recordings from export/import via config as I'd just updated to the new version and new database. (blank as there must have been an error in the mdb one which the conversion program didn't like). It went like this:- (I'd written down my repeating favourites).

From TV Guide, selected RF Antenna channel at 1730-1800, record season all in this daily slot. Fine, slot goes red on TV Guide.
Also from guide, selected STB channel at 2340-0020 season daily slot. Fine.
Also from guide, STB 2300-2340 season daily. This gave the orange rather than red on the guide and when looking for conflict it appeared to conflict with the 1730-1800 recording earlier.

I was in a bit of a panic at the time, and deleted the 2300 recording and the 1730 one recorded fine. When it finished, I setup the 2300 one and it went in fine and is recording at the moment.

Sorry, no logs for the above, but if it recurs, I'll take a snapshot of the system. Thank you for your patience!

If it happens again, I'll get you to email the logs and database to for analysis. I've never once seen a recording marked as a conflict that didnt have and overlay with another recording.
