Other than reinstalling the old version of the app, and restoring backups of your GBPVR.MDB and config.xml, no there isnt.

Okay...just to make sure i have this straight.
1. make a copy of gbpvr.mdb and config.xml
2. uninstall gbpvr
3. uninstall net2.0
4. install my older version of gbpvr
5. replace gbpvr.mdb and config.xml

....this should allow me to keep my recordings intact, along with scheduled recordings anf options? Also, I ran the database changer, does that matter?

Okay, so let's say I didn't take your advice and back those up before updating, I have no choice but a clean re-install at this point?

well, that's my own fault.....i was just at least hoping that after a re-install I could re-link my video's somehow....because i have like 150 gigs worth of shows, half of which I haven't watched yet.

If you do an 'export recordings' before uninstalling, you can probably import the recordings back into your v0.96.12 setup. This will only do the 'ready' recordings those. You'll need to recreate any pending or season recordings.

Wow, that would help a lot.....i only have 5 season recordings to re-setup. does export actually move them, or just allow the link to them to be exported? oh, and where is this option?

It just creates a text file with names and descriptions of the recordings. Nothing more.
