Lyrics plugin

Hi All,

I was just listening to some of my favourite tunes and thought hey there should be a lyrics plugin.

Basically, if there's a song_lyrics.txt then it'll display an inset with the lyrics from that text file. The ability to choose fonts would be cool, but normal arial would be fine.

Next step is to have timing so that you can karaoke....just kidding.

Better yet, what if the program pulled the Lyrics from a web server such as http://lyrics.astraweb.com/. That way, if you have a large music collection, you don't need to create lyrics files for those songs you want lyrics too.

One of my favorite music players for linux (amarok) does this automatically for the mp3s it plays - and it is a pretty cool feature.

Sounds like perhaps we're about to have a Karaoke plugin?

Just thought that I would mention that if people use winamp, lyricfx make a visualisation plugin that searches a whole bunch of websites to find and display the lyrics for the currently playing song. Only used it once or twice, but I was pretty impressed.

I use MiniLyrics and it does the same

Edit: It even does it with some of the internet radio streams I use
