Quote:same error here too during conversion but it seems to have worked? How can I tell which db GBPVR is now using??
By looking in the config.xml...

Access
<DatabaseConnectionString>Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=".\gbpvr.mdb";User Id=admin;Password=</DatabaseConnectionString>
<DatabaseProviderFactory>System.Data.OleDb.OleDbFactory</DatabaseProviderFactory>
<DatabaseIdentityQuery>select @@identity</DatabaseIdentityQuery>

SQLite
<DatabaseConnectionString>Data Source=".\gbpvr.db3";Version=3;New=True;</DatabaseConnectionString>
<DatabaseProviderFactory>System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteFactory</DatabaseProviderFactory>
<DatabaseIdentityQuery>select last_insert_rowid()</DatabaseIdentityQuery>

Has there been any development regarding the migration problem mentioned in this thread? I too get the same error.

Ok, no need for my sake. Resoved it by export recordings, migrated without option of copying data, imported recordings and reloaded EPG. All working fine now.

Afaik sub is rather busy at the moment, a little snowed under as he phrased it. So I wasn't going to bother him with it, I guess he will come back on the subject, if not I'll ask him again. For me there is no hurry.Smile

Can you try the attached updated version of the Change Database utility and let me know if it helps? I'm fairly sure it'll resolve the issue some of you have been having when trying to change database.

It worked great here Sub, Thank you. I selected all check boxes to test everything and it also populated the EPG. It may be good though to add a reminder to restart the recording service.
It looks like all recurring, scheduled and recorded shows all got transferred.
A virtual pat on the back from me, thanks again.

My experience was similar to USERS (generally good), except I stopped the recording service FIRST like I do for a number of plugins/gbpvr.exe updates and this may have been a mistake, because the "Populate EPG option" was greyed out and I lost the EPG and my scheduled recordings ... :o . Other config settings appeared to be OK...

So a little warning about that might be good too :-), for dummies like me...
