0.97.7 RecordingService Failing To Change Channel With HIP

I just noticed that since upgrading all my recordings have been of the same channel

I'm using HIPSend to change channels on an NTL stb and it seems that the RecordingService is failing to run the command.

Everything is setup ok, and bizarrely *watching* TV works fine (i.e. I can change channel using the remote / select something in the EPG and click "watch" and HIPSend will fire and the channel will change correctly).

I've looked through the logs (and attached them here) but can't see anything that immediately stands out as being a problem. Nothing in the Windows event log either.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot further?

Since my upgrade I too have had the same problem. I am using the 'e-home transmitter/reciver' USB device run through HIP/HipSend (*witch makes diagnosis a lil' troublesome, since that set up is a bit flakey at times.) I hate to say it but I am glad to see someone eles is having this problem as well since the update. Hopefully we can find out the problem. I have also noticed that the EPG is not updateing it self at night?? BUT, its Zap-2it, so who knows if its my end or not? (I can't seem to make alot of cents out of the logs?)

You could check if the service has the 'interact with desktop' startup setting. This maybe required by HIPsend (for example, if it relies on the clipboard for data transfer).

I switched the service to 'interact with desktop'... no luck, I'm in the middle of re-setting up my blaster. Hopefully this works?
