EPG Questions

I'm having a problem with the automatic EPG updating.

In Config, I have EPG update set for 4:00 A.M. and to wake the PC. The wake function works fine for scheduled recordings, and the Internet connection is always on, but for some reason the EPG update function is just not happening. I have had to manually update EPG when the TV Guide runs out of data. I looked thorugh the log files, but can't find any entries that seem to relate to the problem. (Which log files should I be looking at?)

My second question relates to my Zap2It subscription - I know it expires in about a month... will I get any warning via gbpvr (once the auto-update is working) or do I need to maually administer the subscription?

I dont know about the first part, but zap2it will email you to take a survey of theirs.
when the survey is complete, you get another few months of subscription.

I have had to do it once so far, and the email came 2 weeks before the expiration date.

Zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

Thanks. Which log file(s)? I found at least a dozen (including mutiple generations) when I was researching this myself.

Probably GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log.

Thanks. Here are the log files. I also included the config.exe log file in case you need to check on any settings there.

Unfortunately those logs dont cover the time the EPG update occurs. These files are overwritten if you restart things. Try posting them again tomorrow morning.

Here are this morning's log files. Since the GBPVRRecordingService.exe files are all empty I included the GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native files also, although I am not clear as to the differences.

I've never seen one of these files empty before. I cant think why that would happen.

Anyway, without the contents of that log file, I've got nothing to go.
