Sub,
For some reason, on the newest release, when I exit, GBPVR crashes. It's not critical because, as far as I can tell, everything's still working. But, I just thought you should know.
- WinXP Pro, 2 GB RAM, 200 GB HDD, Core2Duo 2.4 GHz, nVidia GeForce 8800GTS, Hauppauge Win-TV PVR 350.

There are a few others reporting that in the main 97.7 release thread. I think sub going to look at it overnight, or in the next couple of days.

I'm also seeing this, though it seems harmless enough.

It ties up with an event 5000 in the Application event log.

Details are..

Event Type: Error
Event Source: .NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting
Event Category: None
Event ID: 5000
Date: 17/05/2006
Time: 20:31:37
User: N/A
Computer: MYMCE
Description:
EventType clr20r3, P1 gbpvr.exe, P2 1.0.2324.30919, P3 2d, P4 system.data.sqlite, P5 1.0.27.1, P6 440481b3, P7 de, P8 32, P9 system.data.sqlite.sqlite, P10 NIL.

I did a search for similiar problems, but could only find references to Hauppauge remote issues. Is this a new one?

It's XP-MCE SP2 with Rollup 2, though MCE itself is pretty much redundant Wink

It only happens when I exit. Other than that, it's bullet-proof for me.

I'm not really sure. A user did get an error like this on the 64 bit version of XP, which is why I asked.

I believe I do but I can't double-check cause my Winblows installation just took a dive. I swear, if I ever meet Bill Gates, I'm going to $#@%@$# punch him in the face >_< I may not be watching ANYTHING for a while -_-

This weekend I built my 2nd GB-PVR system, everything on it was a clean install - XP SP2, all updates, and GB-PVR. I'm getting the crash on exist as well, but as the others noted, it seems harmless.

Yes, I have the 'direct access to hauppauge remote' setting enabled.
