OS: Windows XP x64
RAM: 2 GiB of DDR400
PROC: AMD 3200+ Athlon 64
I/O: Hauppauge PVR-500 MCE
.NET Installed
  • 1.1 (x86)
  • 2.0 (x64)

When I attempt to open the config or GBPVR itself I get this error:

Quote:This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I have tried reinstalling the application to no avail. Any ideas anyone?

BTW I am using GBPVR09707.msi

Is there any plan to get it to work? Are there any versions of GB-PVR that DO work with Windows XP x64?

Older versions work with x64, but I no longer have them. I'm sure someone else can PM you a download link for v0.96.12.

What has changed such that it no longer is supported in Windows XP x64?

Also, anyone who PMs me that, thanks you very much in advance. Also, thanks sub for answering my questions.

I moved GB-PVR to .net 2.0. Apparently the older .net 1.1 version of GB-PVR was lucky enough to just work - not so with .net 2.0.

I dont have Windows XP x64, so I cant test it myself.

Sub, thank you for your input. I hope that one day you can support Windows XP x64 again. If there is anything I can do, like test releases, send logs, whatever. Give me a shout.
