Hi All,

Since upgrading to version 0.97.7 the ATI Remote Wonder plugin for GB-PVR appears to be broken. So I have written my own and added a little extra functionality. It can be downloaded from http://www.isiscomputers.co.uk/downloads/GB-PVR.zip.
As it has only been tested on Windows XP and GB-PVR version 0.97.7 with a Remote Wonder II it would be nice to hear how other people get on with it.

Thanks

Thanks Mongoose - I was about to start fiddling with HIP, as my Remonte Wonder II had stopped working with version .97.7. Your plug-in works perfectly on XPSP2 Pro. Details of any particular non-obvious key mappings would be interesting, and any details of the A-F buttons. One thing I couldn't find was a way to cycle through aspect ratios? Thanks again - you saved me hours of fiddling!

The keys the plugin remaps that aren't obvious are:
menu key => Menu
setup key (tick) => Exit
stopwatch key => OSD
info key => TV mini guide
resize key => toggles full screen mode
help key => cycles aspect ratios
C key => skip video back
F key => skip video forward
Other than these all the keys are mapped to their obvious functions including the application keys (DVD, TV).
It doesn't remap the A, B, D or E keys.

Thanks. It all works OK for me except the DVD button which was taking me to the menu item after DVD i.e. "System". This was because I had inactivated the music library plugin - when I reactivated it the DVD key was OK. Thanks again for this - very useful.

How do I install it and make sure that it instead of the remote wonder software controls it?

Thanks,
Greg

Installaton instructions
1. Extract the plug-in files into your ATI Remote Wonder plug-ins folder
e.g. : C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\RemCtrl\Plug-Ins
2. Open your Remote Wonder application (located in your system tray)
3. Click on the second tab "Plug-ins" and choose "Import"
4. Browse your hard drive to find the plug-in extracted in first step
5. Click OK

I have just uploaded a new verion with a few bug fixes and a full readme, you may want to upgrade.

Is there any chance in getting the TV or Power button to launch GB-PVR. Right now I have it set to A, but it would be a little more intuitive if it were the Power button (or TV button).
