Fixed-Channel question

Greetings,

I have an STB that's connected to a PVR350 via coax. I see that since I have an STB and GBPVR needs to be set to "Fixed-Channel", I'm sort of confused as to how I'm supposed to record a show. My STB is set to channel 4 and I've chosen channel 4 as the constant channel but whatever channel I choose in the app, it will only record cable channel 4. Is there something I'm missing?:confused:

do you have an IR Blaster or something to change the channel on your STB?

I am not sure how it works with a cable input. I know it works fine if you use s-video or composite into your tuner card. Of course you do need to have an IR baster working and setup in config.
