I seem to be having overall lots of problems - the TV out now works again, but watching a video and then hitting "menu" on the OSD doesn't clear the screen - the video still stays on screen until you hit an up/down arrow. When you do that, the menu gets overlaid on the still and doesn't stretch to the whole picture (i.e. there is a border about 1cm around the menu screen).

What driver versions are you using? I've downgraded from 21272 to 21177 to see if that helps - don't see a whole lot of difference though.

Cheers,
Andy

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (sub @ Dec. 16 2003,17:26)]When you first add a capture source, you need to close out of the configuration application to force it to save the config. Then restart the configure app, go back into the capture source settings and click the update EPG to pull in the EPG data. I've tried it with your files and it seems to work fine. I'll make this a little simpler in upcoming releases.
Yep, it works. I misunderstood the EPG button, and must admit I hit it once without exiting.

Andy, looks like I'll be doing a v0.0.6 in the next couple of days [Image: rock.gif] . I expected a few teething problems as there have been alot of changes in this release - more than is immediately obvious.

Just so you know, the OSD is always overlaid on a still (initially of black.mpg) but because the picture was way too big for your screen you weren't noticing it. This was an attempt at making the menus a more reasonable size. I've now got support for slightly resizing the OSD, but I defaulted it to slightly too small. I'll put these settings in the config file for v0.0.6. Hey, at least you see the whole screen now [Image: tounge.gif]

I should probably switch back to black.mpg when a video ends, to ensure no one will notice.

No problem... I'm impressed at the ground you're covering and the speed in which you're doing it, so I'm prepared to wait!

Cheers,

I've also noticed that my GB-PVR Reader filter is not doing the right thing for Live TV on the PVR350. Its working for MediaMVP and for normal Directshow software decoding, but with the PVR350 playback only lasts a second or two. This is because something in the graph has decided that the livetv mpg file is very small and only has a duration of x milliseconds. Even though the recording continues, and the file keeps growing, playback stops at the size it was upto when playback started.

I'll have to think about this some more...

Just to ad to what Andy was saying, I also have problems with VMR setup, though i have not had too much time to play with it to see what the problem is.

Likewise i get the same problems with live tvSad

colin, does changing the preferred mpeg decoder (if you have another available) in the config app correct the VMR problem?

Can you see it correctly creating a livetv .mpg file in your recordings directory?

switching to overlay works for livetv. the livetv-0.mpg is created in c:\, not in the recordings directory.

livetv starts up but i cannot change channel. This could be because i need to update my xmltv file.

Pressing escape stops livetv but then gbpvr does not do anything. the message on screen is

Please Wait - Initialising Channel

I'm updating my xmltv file to see what happens. ctrl-g may work then,

Cheers,
Colin.
