Ok -- here is version 1.5 beta. This version lacks significant testing (the ticker will NOT work with tennis), but the rest seems ok. Download link is on the original post.

I'm having trouble with the display. Some of the words are over writing each other. I've attached a copy so that you can see the problem:

I haven't started skinning this yet, but this may fix that specific issue. I shortened the area the top line can fit into.

The skin.xml file is in this zip file. Copy the original to a safe location to try this one out.

Right -- the problem is that the match status is wrapping. Thanks for the patch, fatman!

cbs.sportsline.com does not have a page for CFL scores.

I can add it if you can find me a webpage that shows scores (near-realtime updates and date navigation are a bonus). The less content (ads, images, frames, etc) the better as that will make it easier to parse.

For example, I use this page for baseball:

...and to navigate the days, it's like this:

Edit: My initial attempt has found this page: http://tsn.ca/cfl/scores/?date=6/25/2006 (looks an awful lot like ESPN to me) If you have any other good Canadian sites, I will look into those as well.
