aurora,

1) What exactly is happening, and does it happen as soon as you click on the "music library" button, or is it when you play a file? Can you reproduce the error, then zip and email me your logs so I can take a look. Email them to support@devnz.com. Include some brief comments so I know what the files are for.

2) Yes, some comics are slightly larger and dont display well, but most are fine. I may look at some scroll up/down type functionality for these bigger comics in the next release.

Hi Sub,

Problem occurs as soon as I hit the Music Library button. Never see a file or listing. Will send logs, but all I can find is install log. Where should these files be and what will they be named?

Thanks for the logs aurora. The is occuring when GB-PVR is parsing the ID3 tag from one of your MP3 files. This file has something strange in the tag which is causing this probem. I've not had this reported before.

You may have to try an identify which file in the root of your music directory is the culprit (maybe try moving the files out of the directory until you find the cause). If you find the problem file, is there any chance you can send the file over so I can make sure GB-PVR can cope with this situation in future?

Due to the issues with the blinking display and the IR I did not com around yet to complimenting Sub on this new version. I really love the EPG search and the reorganized recordings display.

When trying the web page, I get the following:

Server Error in '/gbpvr' Application.
-------------------------------------------------------

HTTP Error 404 - Not Found.

-------------------------------------------------------
Version Information: Cassini Web Server 1.0.1668.35799

I'm upgrading from SnapStream and I have a MediaMVP. This is a much cooler combination! Having the same UI on both the TV and the computer is the way it should be done. Is there any easy way to get the MediaMVP application run as a service?

Yes, I've in the support forum someone else had pointed out the problem with the web stuff. I'd forgotten about some changes I'd started but not completed. I'll do a release in a few more days to fix this up.

For now you'll just need to start the GB-PVR MVP server manually, or via some roll-your-own method. I'll add service support soon, but just need to few more things to settle down.

Sub,

good job with the building in the tftp server into GBPVR. Just tried it out last night and it works a treat. Much cleaner this way than having to start up hauppauge, then stop it.

Cheers,
Colin.

What are the steps required to boot with the tftp server. If there is another post that I missed, please just point me to it.

Thanks.
