Hi everyone, I'm new and this is my first try at GBPVR.
I have a Shuttle XPC, Athlon 2700, 1 Gb RAM, DViCO Plus board, Nvidia graphics. I installed Win2k Professional SP4, let all the updates from MS install and then installed the DViCO software (latest release). All good, no problems, great picture. The software updates from MS included Directx 9 and .NET 2 and WMP 10.
I felt confident before installing the latest build of GBPVR. But very quickly an error message appeared. It read:
"An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'wmppia, version="9.00.3095", Culture="neutral", PublicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35", GUID="6bf52a50-394a-11d3-b153-00c04f79faa6". Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x8002802F"
I searched the forums for an answer, and six months ago there was some problem that could be like this and the workaround was to install .NET1 over the top of .NET 2. I am very wary of doing this as I understand GBPVR needs v2.
Can anyone guide me through a workaround or some resolution?
Many thanks in advance.
Regards
Michael
