Is anyone else currently having problems with Zap2it?

Mine has been working fine all week, but tonight when I re-configured my GB-PVR from scratch (deleted gbpvr.mdb), it now gives errors (500-server error) when I try to do my initial Update EPG.

Which means no channels. No recordings. Nothing. I'm in GB-PVR withdrawl!!! Smile

Zap2it / Canada

Anyone else seeing problems with Zap2it tonight?? Or could it be something else?

Thanks!

I had problems yesterday. The data in my lineup was removed. (The name of the lineup was still there, though.) Check your lineup, if it shows this message:
This lineup contains no effective stations. Please return to the My Electronic Program Guide page, remove this lineup and select a new lineup....
then remove it and re-add it (removing extra channels as needed). It should be back to normal. Just update your EPG.

I am having issues with Zap2It as well. The channel lineup is changing for no reason and all out of order. It happened last week also.

Brilliant--thanks! It didn't occur to me to look at the lineup's details.

All fixed. Big Grin

If you're using 0.97.9, there are three patches (that I know of) posted by sub so far. One of them fixes this.

Do a quick search for "patch" on this board.

I'm not certain if this is part of the problem, but Time Warner changed several channels in my area. Perhaps this was done by Zap2it in order to have you update, or the method they used to provide guide information was changed by the channel moving/changing/renumbering process.

Zap2it reselected all of the channels I went through and removed because it had duplicates and was causing problems with GB-PVR. I had to go through and uncheck them again.
