Thank you for adding the ForceMono option to the direct.ini file. I have changed it ForceMono=1. After restarting the recording device the sound still seems to be set to stereo - as the Hauppauge USB2 device is still clicking. When WinTV is set to mono, there is no clicking. Can we check a debug-log to verify this?

Unfortunately I didnt add any debug logs messages for this.

If you schedule a recording you could check the file using MpegAN which will tell you all sorts of stuff about the file including whether the file is mono or stereo. You can get MpegAN from http://home.socal.rr.com/tateu/MpegAN.htm . Make sure you also get the GUI for it!

Thanks. I used MpegAN_GUI_v059 to verify the gbpvr mpeg files (Olympic Games! and it is saying Mode = Stereo.

last version worked on my epia 5000 fine. This one gives me after installing (first install and later after removing software and directory) the fowlloing error when trying to configure the softwaqre. All the boxes in the configure dialog, after pressing continue are emptly.

What could that be?

Well after trusty crusty .18 failed out 6 recordings of my shows last night (grr! I stayed up way past my bedtime, dumped .18, upgraded the machine (windows updates and etc) upgraded to the latest hauppauge drivers for the 350 card (and the latest overlay/encoder/whatever it's called) and the latest GB-PVR. Well, it hasn't recorded anything, yet (tonight will be the first thing it records) but live tv seems stable, I went in and out of it several times with no black-screen hangups like it did before, so crossing my fingers it stays stable, that's probably my only beef with GB-PVR, and yes I know, it's not a GB-PVR problem but it's still annoying

It absolutely amazes me how fast this program has gotten to where it is, I think v.20 is head and shoulders over what was here only a mere few months ago. Great work sub, I think it's time to throw you a donation (somehow!

Also, on a sadder note, one of my favorite net radio stations that's in the presets appears to now be gone. Pirate Radio, kqlz.org, 100.3, is dead. http://www.kqlz.org leads to a RIP page too bad it was one of my favorite stations, I guess you can take that out for the next release, sub.

Spoke too soon, still getting the black-screen hangups, but fortunately no failed recordings yet. I think it's time to start a petetion to Hauppauge to FIX their #### 350 drivers!!

Hallo Sub,
Just wanted to let you know about a minor GUI bug that has been causing me grief in the config app. I just figured out that when in the Edit Recording Source screen and I am changing the source channel numbers, adding a channel not only brings you to the top of the list, but you lose you changes since the last time you closed the window.

Couldn't work out why I kept getting duplicate or wrong channels, thought it was just me. This has been a problem in the last versions, BTW.

Now I know, it isn't a problem, but it is non-obvious. Thought I would let you know.
