Live TV freezes after a couple of minutes

Sub, if you're reading, this seems like the same problem i have. However I don't have a card reader plugged in, and my dvb-s card is a PCI card. No problems on mediaportal so i don't think the card is faulty.

Mine only plays for about 2 seconds though, not the few minutes.

Sorry, but that doesnt sounds like the same problem at all then. They both had USB problems, which they eventually tracked down as being caused by things other than GB-PVR.

hmm ok fair enough. I have no USB devices plugged in most of the time. Just the occasional usb thumb drive to transfer files.
