It would not have been listed as an error since it would have crashed at the point of operaiton. You should have seen lines in the log related to the file change event (file being added) that the plug-in was respondning to. At the point those logs may have been overwritten by subsequent ones. Since that code is only kicked off when add a new image into the folder you should be able to run the plug-in now without error. I wil lpost the update that puts error handling around this some time this week. I am waiting to see if anything else turns up in my testing at home.

Jeff Wrote:What version of the video archive plug-in are you using. I just downloaded your skin and tried it with my setup and it worked fine with the video archive plugin. If there is no specific skin defined the VA plug-in pulls its skin files from the blue skin. If you don't have the blue skin on your machine that would cause a problem. Could you post your gbpvr.exe.log file next time you have a problem so I can see where it is coming from?

Thanks

Jeff

Removing the plugins seem to fix the problem. I can't wait for this skin to be completely ready.

i have the same problem with the new my videos 5. it shows up and works, but if i start a movie gbpvr crashes. this is happening with every skin....even if the plugin is disabled. i have to disable all the plugins to have it working again.

maybe i should post that in revens forum.

I am using a european date/time format just that us British don't use the same european format as other european countries :p

Looks good, OSD works fine, main menu has the next recording panel with the end date shown Smile

here it is: a fully working sassari-release, containing all the basic plugins (i hope). one thing i couldn't test: the fm-radio scan-popup. everything else should be fine. if not: post it, i'll fix it.

next steps: fix the errors, post it on the wiki, skin the my-series.

don't forget to download the font from the previous post if you haven't done already.

ah, forgot to mention: if you experience slow performance, just rename the skin-flat.xml files in video/photo/music library to skin.xml. later this will be a second release, once it is on the wiki.

Dottore - I noticed this morning while I was getting ready for work that the preview video window is aligned too close to the right edge of the screen. Would it be possible to align the video preview window to the "dividing line" that separates the main menu field from the right side menu? (I know I've totally butchered the names...)

I didn't have enough time to take a screenshot so if someone else could verify this for dottore it would be appreciated.

seems like an overscan-issue. i'll move the inset for you on the main menu. i don't want to change the whole skin, i need to be sure it fits on the screen.

could you try it with the attached file? it's the main menu xml.
