Almost there, nice feature! Works successfully on MVP. Ctrl-k does work on PC (sorry GBPVR wasn't the active window when I was looking at the PVR output on TV). So it's just the record button on the Hauppauge remote when using a PC. I'm not using IR.EXE and have the "use direct access to hauppauge remote" checked.

Can confirm same thing... Crtl-K works if GBPVR is active window but nothing on Hauppage remote using Direct Access.

Love the new version.. seems very stable on PVR-350.

For a maintenance release I hope to put out later this week, I've added RECORD button support in the two places I missed it (MCE remote and Hauppauge Direct IR Remote access).

I gave this version a quick try last night. Disabling the OSP makes the MVP much more responsive but it would be good if you could still use the blue button to bring it up.

I had a problem with the MVP refusing to start a second time without restarting the server. ie I start the MVPserver, start the MVP, stop the MVP. If I then try to restart the MVP it can't find the server until I restart the MVPserver. I had to stop fiddling with it and yield the MVP to my wife before I could gather any more info on what was going on.

Ah, right you are. Ok, I've now fixed this and it'll be included in a maintenance release later in the week.

Thanks for the looking at the record issue. Glad it wasn't just me in the end!

My LiveTV recordings are dissappearing. But not just from the list, the files are getting cleaned out. Watching the buffer directory it looks like when you start LiveTV the file is created. Pressing record leaves it in the directory when you press stop to quit LiveTV. If you then start LiveTV again, as it goes back to the same channel the orginal file is overwritten. Then when you quit again (but without pressing Record) a few moments later the file is automatically wiped out by GBPVR cleaning up the buffer directory. As such the listing then also dissappears. Does this sound feasible?

I would think that when you Press record, and subsquently then press stop, GBPVR should move the file out of the buffer directory and into the "Recordings Directory" and (obviously) not try to delete it.

I've added a minimal OSD mode for the next build.

SUB > Is there any way to get some sort of color control built into the interface. I can adjust using WinTV and those settings are used by GBPVR but if i reboot machine all is lost but wintv hold its settings. Or can you tell us where GBPVR gets its settings from so we can adjust them accordingly. Thanks for all the work to by the way.

It doesn't get its settings from anywhere, it just uses whatever the defaults are for the drivers. In a future release, when I've got more time, I'll see if I can add some control for this..

I'm not entirely convinced that this is related to the latest release or not, but I've noticed that since installing it my PC seems to decide that it has run out of resources when it's been idling overnight, and I start to get 'out of resource' error messages when trying to run (other) things. Once I re-boot all is OK for a while. GB-PVR is the only thing that has changed lately.

I'm using Windows XP SP2, WinTVPVR250, GB-PVR 0.238.

Checking task manager, there seems to be plenty of memory available and the CPU's are idling nicely. It's wierd.

Also, can anyone tell me how to install this so that its available to all users of the PC, not just me (as admin). I have a separate login for my wife (she likes her desktop/favourites/shortcuts etc different to me) and she can't access GB-PVR, and (more importantly) doesn't get the taskbar icon to show if GB-PVR is recording or not. This would be really handy as I could say to her "Don't change channels on the Satellite box if you see this icon is green".

Love the new time and recording status panels by the way, and the VBR recording is fantastic.

Well done once again sub.
