So does your "VBox TV Tuner (DTF8600 - ATSC)" filter now have an output pin? What is its name? Or when you said "not visible" did you mean "now visible"?

What exactly are you doing in GB-PVR when it doesnt work? (for example, trying live tv)
Zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Capture Source Tab
Select VBox and Edit... Edit Recording Source I select few channels (checkboxes) Map digital channels to EPG channels then I get the error (unable to start BDA device...) Hope I've included the correct log files.

The 'Map digital channels to EPG channels' doesnt really work with ATSC devices. You need to set it up manually, as described at http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...HDTVSource

I have to take off for about an hour. I really appreciate your help. Will get back to this. Any other ideas?

You were getting this problem clicking "Map digital channels to EPG channels". You shouldnt be clicking that button at all with an ATSC device.
Set up the channels manually, as per the link above, then close the config app and try a recording or live tv in GB-PVR. If these fail, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Got through setting up my digital channels manually. I launched GB-PVR. The EPG shows up. I click on live TV and I get a black and white screen for 1 second, then back to the EPG. I tried different channels and got the same thing. Show Status states my VBox is "sleeping". How do we wake it up? Attached are the log files. Remember, MCE 2005 was able to scan channels for signal strength. I was able to see that signal strength light.

Quote:17:43:05.937 VERBOSE Successfully auto detected tuner filter: VBox Vb35xx CaptureUnfortunately, it still seems to not like something about your bda.ini definition, or the drivers itself, or the device is in use elsewhere in the system. Nothing else is holding on to the device at the moment? MCE?

No I donât think anything is holding onto the Vbox device. MCE is not on. It does not start when windows starts and I've rebooted a few times.
Once again here is my bda.ini definition [VBox Cats Eye USB 3560 (USB-A 3560)] TUNING_TYPE=ATSC FILTER_TUNER=VBox TV Tuner (DTF8600 - ATSC) FILTER_CAPTURE=VBox Vb35xx Capture PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0 PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport Iâve attached a wordpad screen of my GraphEdit. Is something missing? I looked at my device manger and windows says that the VBox devices are working fine. |
