I'm going to try a full uninstall as well just in case I have something still there after I was trying unofficial drivers.

Here's a new set of log files get an error at the Freecom DVB-T Type 2 selection in BDA Settings and also again in scanning for channels.

It sounds like your bda.ini file is not present, or damged (or possibly the BDA directory). I'd uninstall, delete the c:\programfiles\devnz directory, then reinstall and try to set it up again.

Can you try deleting any scanX.cache files out of c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\BDA, then try again?

Ok,

Done that.... re scanned and got error 1 on the BDA Settings when selecting Freecom DVB-T Type 2

Hi,

No worries mate you done well anyway.... Will try it on my wife's laptop at the weekend. I may also rebuild this PC too with a fresh ghost image.
